A Coal Miner's Bride - Vocabulary Activities


Introducing Vocabulary based on Dr. Robert Marzano's Six Steps

 

1. The teacher will describe the word in language the student understands

 

2. The learner will explain the term in his own words

 

3. The learner will connect the new term with an image

 

4. The learner will participate in activities that provide more knowledge of the words.

 

5. The learner will interact with other learners using the words.

 

6. The learner will participate in games that provide more reinforcement of the new term.
